Thai Yoga Bodywork is a gentle, easy-to-do, assisted stretching modality, combined with acupressure, muscle and joint stimulation and therapeutic bodywork that will leave you feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and invigorated!

Some refer to this as “The Lazy Man’s Yoga”

This amazing and relaxing bodywork combination includes stretching similar to or related to yoga poses or partner yoga, and has shown to have a therapeutic effect on your body, mind and nervous system similar to a therapeutic yoga session.

Gentle pressure is gently applied to the muscles, limbs, hands, feet, etc and provides a relaxing and grounding effect to the overall body inducing a relaxation effect.

Although it involves flexibility, you need not be flexible to enjoy this practice; since it is easily adjusted for any flexibility or comfort level.

Assisted stretching and Thai bodywork and/or partner yoga poses with a professional Thai Practitioner such as myself  will literally change your life!

We may also incorporate into your bodywork sessions; acupressure, reflexology, Swedish tissue manipulation, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and/or neuromuscular therapy according to your preferences and specific needs.

WHAT TO WEAR

Loose and comfortable clothing like what you’d wear to the gym: Sweatpants/shorts, T-shirt or sweatshirt, leggings, etc.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Thai Yoga Bodywork sessions will be performed on the floor on a special mat that looks like a futon mat. Clients and the practitioners will be clothed in comfortable clothing that allows for easy moving.

GENERAL BODYWORK SESSIONS

Other types of therapy sessions offered may be performed on a massage table or on a Thai Yoga mat. Thai yoga bodywork is generally performed on the Thai mat.
